The Brise-Vent Havre structure was built to protect the city from destructive storms. Now, it is crucial to give new life to this iconic site in the city’s port, opening it up to both residents and tourists. The Museum of the Elements embodies the centuries-old dialogue between humanity and the forces of nature, inviting visitors to experience this unique encounter.
The architecture of the museum reflects the dynamics of wind: retractable volumes create new spaces, connecting the elements in a unified journey. The exhibition spans four zones—Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water—each revealing its element through unique visual and spatial solutions, from a lush garden to an underwater tunnel. The journey culminates in a restaurant and temporary exhibitions on the second level.
Конструкцию Brise-Vent Havre возвели для защиты города от разрушительных штормов. Сейчас важно дать вторую жизнь знаковому месту в порту города, открыть его для жителей и туристов. Музей Стихий становится олицетворением многовекового диалога между человеком и природными силами, приглашает посетителей ощутить на себе это уникальное столкновение.
Архитектура музея отражает динамику ветра: выдвижные объёмы создают новые пространства, соединяя элементы в едином пути. Экспозиция охватывает четыре зоны — Земли, Ветра, Огня и Воды, каждая из которых раскрывает свою стихию через уникальные визуальные и пространственные решения, от зелёного сада до туннеля под водой. Завершается маршрут рестораном и временными выставками на втором уровне
